Recall Information on APPALACHIAN TRAIL MIXES and PEANUT BUTTER GRANOLAS

As a result of the expansion of Peanut Corporation of America’s recall to include all peanut ingredients produced in their Plainview, Texas facility, Bear Naked today announced a voluntary nationwide recall of 12-ounce packages of Bear Naked® All-Natural Peanut Butter Granola and Bear Naked® All-Natural Peanut Butter Granola with Heavenly Chocolate. This is in addition to the Bear Naked® All-Natural Appalachian Trail Mix products that were recalled on January 31, 2009. All recalled products with a “Better If Used Before” date prior to February 1, 2010 are involved. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection to these Bear Naked products. No other Bear Naked products are involved in this recall.
